45th PROGRESS REPORT
When we kicked off our first 45th Reunion Planning Meeting in mid 2015 we reviewed our notes from the 40th and started formulating a plan to make the 45th even better. As we hold meetings our plans will be formulated to put on another great reunion.
• Our first priority will be to continue getting as many alumni to the event as possible. We need your help by telling those that did not come to the 40th just how cool the event really was. Your help is certainly appreciated in any effort to track down our "Lost Classmates." The 45th will be a Reunion to remember with even more very cool surprises!!
• Our second priority is to set a date that will allow as many classmates to attend as possible and provide enough “lead time” to accommodate our working/ social schedules. Because the turn out was so good for the 36th and 40th plus the weather is "predictable” in September- we decided on Saturday, September 9th for the 45th.
• Our third priority was to lock down the right venue. We have had so many comments about how "perfect" the Croatian American Cultural Center was for the 40th. In the meantime we did find another great venue- but at the last minute it was taken by another group. So CACC here we come. The location is lousy but the food, nearby accommodations, indoor/outdoor environments, parking, flexibility, cost and experience still make this a perfect location. The Croatian American Cultural Center . They offer the best overall value with both great indoor and outdoor venues.
• Our forth priority is to keep the ticket prices at a reasonable rate. We know that reconnecting with our classmates is what this event is all about, so that is our focus. Building on the success of the 36th and 40th Year Reunions, we will be adding a few small surprises while focusing our money on the basic ingredients for a great party.
